Moving Strato S to Second Location

I’m going to move a Strato S that is part of my main system and set it up at my secondary residence so that I can enjoy my K content there as well. I need to deactivate the player from the system and then re activate it once I have it on the network there, correct?

I have one in our secondary residence. It has a different movie download Q as it only has access to its internal drive. I believe you remove from your current system and then setup in your second location. You have to agree with their license, etc. when setting up. Use the same email address and make sure it is part of your account.

If by deactivate you mean you will use "Remove from system," then yes, that's correct. (Don't "deregister" it, that would remove it from the Store account, unless as SJHT indicated, the move would require a completely new setup.)

Last year I removed a Strato-S from one of my systems and moved it to another location. I just connected it online and it worked fine, but I did not try to download any new content.

Ok, yes, to clarify, I’m going to move it to the other location and would like to access/download new content, just would have more limited storage. I believe I would set that up as a new system, just under the same account.

Thanks,
Shane

Based on that info, then yes, you are correct, just set it up with the same Store account.

Jim

Be aware also that when you remove the Strato S from your existing system, your system will automatically download all of the movies that are stored on the Strato S, if any, to your remaining storage components.

Yes sir. That’s what I had figured. The movies on the Strato S were automatically downloaded to my Terra when I removed it.

Thanks,
Shane
