Moving A DV 700 Vault

todo

Well-known member
I am planning to move my quite full vault from my rack system in my theater and bring it downstairs to my informal living room TV setup.
I will be installing my M500 player and that will give me some rack space.
When moving the Vault, is it advisable to empty it first or can I move it full ...
Will appreciate any advice.

You can move it full, no need to remove the discs. The only advice is the obvious, be ready for the weight when lifting (empty vault is close to 50 lbs). Not saying it would matter, but when I have moved full Vault's I also avoided any extreme angles (but it does not need to be perfectly level). I have moved several full vaults without any problems.
