Movies with Japanese subtitles?

I was looking through the store and noticed that most movies only have English subtitles. I have some relatives from Japan that I'd love to show my system off to, but they'd need Japanese subtitles. Is there any way to do an advanced search of the store and find movies with Japanese subtitles? Blu-ray.com has this feature for discs, and it's led me to buy some discs that I might not have otherwise.

Oppo Blu-ray players have a nice feature where you can insert a usb flash drive with foreign subtitle files and the player would integrate those to a movie disc without those subtitles. There is a rear usb input on all Kaleidescape player. It would be nice if such a feature could be implemented. You could add foreign subtitles to any movie.

I have an Oppo 203. I had no idea this feature existed. I'll have to try that out with some of my existing Blu-rays

It is somewhat of an unadvertised feature. Check out AVS and Blu ray websites. There are some extensive threads about this.

If Kaleidescape was to implement this, I would think you wouldn’t even need a usb drive. You would handle it in the browser interface and upload the file directly into the server.

I'm assuming the lack of non-English subtitles is bc of global licensing issues, but I could be wrong. It seems off-brand for Kaleidescape to allow users to inject their own homebrew subtitles, but again, I'm new here so I may be wrong. :)

It is a bit of a grey area. They allow their customers to edit the metadata/ movie info and cover arts on the premiere line up. I am not optimistic either.

I wish this features happen to allow to add the needed subtitle or download in the way that K can used
