Looking for some dealer assistance

Hi there,

New to the group, K systems and looking for some dealer support. I recently purchased a K-120 (1st gen Cinema One) with 2 500g (M500?) disk drives. I've filled that up pretty quickly and purchased 2 additional 500g disks. Unfortunately, I didn't realize they would need to be re-initialized before my system would recognize them.

I'm looking to either have a dealer assist me in getting them re-initialized (cost?), or purchase 2 that are already re-initialized.

Any dealers out there that could assist? I've tried 2 of my locally listed ones (found on the K dealer locator) and both had no idea what I was talking about :(

Thanks

PM sent.

Happy to help, buy fyi, if the 500GB drives you are referring to are out of warranty, or over 3 years old (very likely) then they cannot be reinitialized. There is no out of warranty replacement for those, unfortunately. Respond to my PM when you have time and I'll explain your options and do what I can to help.
