Linkin Park Import Error

Steven

Well-known member
Hi,

I just imported my Linkin Park 'Live in Texas' DVD. It was a DVD that came with the music CD. When I imported it, it was looked up as the Linkin Park/Jay Z 'Collision Course' DVD.

How do I report something like this? I also have the latter, and I don't want to try to import it at this point.

Thanks, Steven

are you certain the two DVDs aren't actually the same, but with different names?

If you're sure, then send an email to "movieguide-data@kaleidescape.com . if possible, include the descriptions of each disc and their UPC codes if they're there on the jackets.

Hey Josh,

Yeah, they are definitely different. I'll send the e-mail to that address, I appreciate it.

As a side question, there have been a couple of CDs or DVDs that I imported that weren't recognized. I keyed in the UPC and on one of them, the songs of the CD sort of just appeared, a few days later. No cover art, but obviously someone did something. What is the process for that sort of thing?

Thanks Again, Steven

I've seen that also. Sometimes with the UPC they can get the song list and other metadata correct, but they may not have purchased their own copy for cover art scanning. You can always upload your own cover art, or you can send them your discs - Kaleidescape even pays the Fedex both directions.
