KS on iPad

I may be dumber than a box of rocks but doesn't anyone else think it would be sweet to be able to stream KS content to your iPad, especially now the iPad 3 appears to be fully hardcore enough to cope with it.
Is it possible that KS are working on an app? I've not even heard anyone pondering this. It would solve a lot of problems for me.

They are not working on it that I have heard and would be surprised if they were. A PC certainly has the power to decode the video and yet they do not stream to PC clients.

i've actually managed a version of this by bolting a Monsoon Vulkano onto the component outs of a KS player and it's not bad at all.. but IR control is horrendous due to lag. Sadly Monsoon don't provide the option for tcp/ip control, so you have to use the KS app in conjunction with Vulkano player, AND Demopad to control the volume! Messy, but it demonstrates how easily an app could so all three if someone would just make it for me :)

Try Slingbox works like a charm, bit of control lag but totally usable on the road. Also toss a slingcatcher at the vacation house.

When you say to put one at the vacation home (the Sling Catcher), does it work through the public internet to play off of the Kaleidescape server?

Thanks, Steven

Yes, you place the sling catcher anywhere there is an internet connection and use the internet to stream your K movies.
