  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

Kaleidoscape 2000 server. Two players. One recorder. Audio additions. For sale. Asking 3500 or pm me with offers. Good system no longer needed. Not familiar with all info so ask any questions and I will get you the answers. Wish I could use it.

Would you please verify your equipment.
The server's are either:
1U-K1500
3U-K5000
5U-K2500
 
The Kserver2000 is the 5U server that had 100mbit network connections on it.

What is the storage capacity of the server? You mention 12 storage bays, 2 cartridges. Do you mean that your system has only 2 disc drives in it? My guess is that would be 2 of the 250 GB or 300GB drives because by the time they were shipping 400GB drives they were already using the K2500 5U servers. Is that correct?
 
The two cartridges that I have with the unit are KDISK-750. I have two in the machine. There are 10 empty bays for additional storage. I hope that answers your question.
