Kaleidescape Strato Replacement AC Adapter & Remote

My Kaleidescape Strato AC adapter needs to replaced.

Can someone point me to an appropriate replacement, say from Amazon.

It's just a AC to 12V DC but need to get the right pin out and power output.

Also need a replacement remote.

Thanks !

Why not purchase the one Kaleidescape sells?

Jim

Remote is also available from K, but I think I have one here, PM me with your address and I'll send one to you.

From my experience, moving 3 times in one year will make all kinds of things disappear. Might be the case here!

If you still need the remote, PM me. I'll wait another day, but then will send to someone else that saw the post and asked for it. To be clear, I'll send it at no cost to you, just trying to help, no marketing involved.

Howdy, not to hijack the thread (seems a theme this morning :) ) but I was looking at the AC to DC adaptor too. I was thinking of replacing all of my power leads - nothing crazy, just upping them to an Audioquest or Merlin or something. This makes sense where it is a direct connection but less so I guess when it is into an AC to DC adaptor. Are there "audiophile" AC to DC adaptors out there? I know it can be a contentious subject. Mine was more about aethstetics and cable length rather than performance.

Darn. I didn't see this soon enough. Probably missed out at this point.

I did send that one to someone else, but PM me your address and I'll send one of mine.

Jim

I responded to your PM. Did you get a new A/C adapter?

Jim

Okay, I'll send you one of those with the remote.

I see a number of Cinema One remotes on ebay, considering picking one up as a spare. I was wondering if the remote codes are compatible with the Strato.

Check the part number on the Starto remote you have along with the part number of the Cinema One remote listed on ebay. If they're the same, it's the same remote.

Aside from the color buttons added for M Class, all of them are compatible.
