Kaleidescape Store to offer music purchases?

Would you buy music from the Kaleidescape store? (Other than the concert films and documentaries)

How many albums would you re-buy?

What if there was a way to match to provide proof of rights to the CDs your currently own? Then download from the Store at no additional cost.

What music formats would you want to have? 24bit Music?

Given that neither the Strato nor the Alto supports music playback (other than as concert films and the like), I highly doubt that you'll see music sales added to the store.

I highly doubt it too. However, I went over a friend’s house and used it with his crestron control system. The process works just like movies. The music has great metadata. Lastly, it goes to show that streaming, even with Tidal et al, is not as good as having local files or discs.

I may go backwards and get a DV700 and Cinema one for this use.

No need for the DV700 unless you just want it as a bulk import device. The Cinema One (and all Premiere line servers for that matter) can still import CDs and there's no disc presence requirement for playback.

Bulk or Die! I used 4 CD drives and countless hours years ago to get 3000 CDs into my iTunes Library!

Plus I want the DV700 to play movies not available on the Kaleidescape Store. M

Thanks for your insight!
