Kaleidescape displayed on a CinemaScope screen with electronic masking

Hello all. Though there is a fair amount of great Store content in 1.78:1, the ability of a fine projector to auto-zoom out and refocus while your screen auto-reacts morphing into 2.4:1 for your CinemaScope content is truly spectacular. Nothing better than Kaleidescape on the "big screen"!

We prefer to leave the projector geometry as it is and let a videoprocessor do the scaling.
This way, no readjustment of the projection is needed and also image brightness stays the same throughout the different aspect ratios.
However, totally agree on the impression an eletronic masking system makes on the overall experience.
