KALEIDESCAPE’S NEW MARINE MOVIE SERVICE

That's my understanding as well. (see the last sentence in the article).

"Kaleidescape’s new movie service is available exclusively to marine customers and will be available later this year."

That's right. This movie service is exclusive to luxury yachts.

I don't need to tell the audience in this forum about the importance of content. Great content is what entertains us. Kaleidescape the only way to enjoy a cinematic experience - and great content, in the highest fidelity audio and video, plays a vital role in making that possible. Almost all of our 1,000+ yacht installations are Premiere systems. This requires someone to own the task of keeping the system's content fresh, including popular movies or gems from the past, periodically added to the system. As it turns out, no one is responsible for this content task in a luxury yacht -- and as you all know, movies you like are like other aspects of your life - it's personal. We wanted to solve this problem. Those yachts which had someone designated to keep the content fresh by adding new movies loved their system. Others who didn't have an owner, didn't.

As the trend shifted from shiny discs to internet-delivered content, and it became more challenging to find great movies at ports on shiny discs, yachts needed a very simple content delivery and content curation solution. We have solved this problem by defining this new marine movie service for luxury yachts in international waters.

Just as we leverage what we learn in the luxury residential home cinema market for the luxury yacht market, perhaps some of these marine collections we define could matter to customers with very little disposable time for their residences as well.

To be clear, you need to own a luxury yacht, you must register for a marine movie store account tied to the Strato/Terra system installed in that yacht, which must be installed and serviced by an authorized marine integrator. The new store (marine-movie-store) is different in many ways -- there are no disc-to-digital offerings, it's one account per system, but offers an incredible white-glove approach to delivering large numbers of titles in a secure manner to the targeted Kaleidescape system on the yacht.

We care deeply about our brand. We had over 30 meetings last week and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. After all, it all starts with listening carefully to our customers' evolving needs. If we own the luxury cinema experience, it shouldn't matter if it's in your luxury home or a luxury yacht.

I hope this sheds a little more detail about why we're doing what we're doing in the marine market.
