K-120 power Supply

Hi Guys,

I have a k-120 and the power supply has gone, nothing at all. I was hoping to get it sent back and repaired by Kaleidescape but know they don't repair the K-120. I don't want to upgrade as its only used for the kids films and is ideal for that. Does anybody have any idea where or how I can get hold of a replacement power supply?

Thanks.

G

I believe your only option at this point is repair...

These guys will repair for around $175:

http://www.siress.com/
Siress Enterprises, Inc.
1489 E. Warner Ave.
Santa Ana, CA 92705

Phone: (714) 241-7555
Fax: (714) 662-7581

That's a shame, I live in the UK, does anybody have a spare or know of a similar replacement?

Thanks,
G

You could trade up to a 1U server and get 25% off :)

Or Cinema One 2nd generation with 20% off I believe.

Actually, never thought of getting the PSU repaired. Might be the way to go. I think the UK no longer has 2nd Gen Cinema Ones in stock.

Thanks guys

They don't but Kaleidescape will offer the upgrade as they have stock. Would mean you could import DVD's and Blu-Ray with 4TB storage. Plus if your dealer or distributor have a spare K120 chassis they could replicate your content to save importing it all again.
