Is there anything we can do when D2D supported titles don't register with their actual discs?

I haven't gone through extensively enough to make a list of everything I've seen, but there are titles in the store that claim they offer disc to digital specials, though it won't show up even after you catalog the disc. Didn't know if there was a way to override that and show that we own it in the store.

Off the top for two different style of examples, Karate Kid 3 info comes up wrong when catalogued (1 and 2 from the same set worked), and the movie Climax isn't able to be catalogued because the blu-ray disc has another form of data on it that K doesn't read.

I’ve had this issue many times (still have a number of them). Usually it’s down to region of disc, special editions or even distributor/studio right’s handover. I’ve mailed support and sometimes it’s been corrected.

Biggest annoyance I have at the moment is the entire Dreamworks collection pack I have yet none of the discs show up as D2D, I’m presuming this is because this isn’t a retail pack but a box set for Dreamworks employees. US box set naturally in US store.

If the Blu-ray shows a message saying that it's some other kind of data, that is more likely to mean that the disc is simply unreadable. You may have some luck cleaning it with soap & water. Or, if you have another component with an optical drive, you can try that. I've had a few instances where my M500 was able to read a disc that the M700 couldn't, or vice-versa.

If a disc is entirely unrecognized, be sure to enter the UPC code. That will get it into our process so that we can get it into the database with cover art and metadata. Sometimes multiple different versions of discs are created by the manufacturer for various reasons, and so that can lead to issues where discs for popular movies aren't recognized (even as part of a set) because the disc happens to be a different version than the ones we've processed.

Mis-recognition is less common. I'll reach out to you about that Karate Kid disc directly.
