I just read the app description and it says volume control works with control4.

Anyone know how to set this up?

its a great app but i wish i could set a default player.. if the player goes off it defaults to another when you start the app whether the player has been turned on or not.. and the choice to swap players is in tiny little text right at the bottom.. which explains some confusion and spurious operation of players in different rooms. I hope K are going to address this in a future release..
 
This was identified during the beta testing. I think it's on their radar in a future update.

I just added it to my system and the volume control part works great. It is a multi-step process of "marrying" the Kaleidescape player to the room's volume feedback in the Programming and Agents tab of Control 4 programming. It is like 5 or 6 steps to get it all to work -- not as hard as that sounds -- but then once married, it works great. Kaleidescape sent me a PDF on the procedure; I can try and find it and post here if you still need it...

What variable are you using for Mute State? "Current_Volume"?
