Home movie Blu Ray Import?

Just wondering if theres currently a prohibition against this. Ive been trying like crazy to do it and its not working.

Home movies recorded on BR discs can be imported (by M-class players), but these discs must be BDMV (meaning there is a disc menu present). If you authored the movies using any of the tools that use a direct-to-disc method, then there is likely no menu structure and cannot currently be imported. (These are referred to as BDAV.)

Thank you Jim. I think I can create a menu but I chose to not do it in the interest of simplicity. DOH. :)

Whats interesting is my discs were authored as BDMV- but they didn't have a menu. I am trying one now that does have a menu.

Let us know how that works out.

Jim

It did not. I will be communicating with K tech support tomorrow- Ive gone through probably 5 blank BR DL discs now and don't want to keep feeding the trash monster.
