Hitachi started shipping 4TB hard drives on December 12th!

That's correct, and of course you will "free up" 4TB of space when you add the two larger drives (I'm talking about the 4TB currently allocated for the HS and KRAID).

Have no idea on drive sizes, but like most here, I'm guessing 3TB's. As to "when," I have no idea.
