Hi- I have the rights to the HD version of Grease, and now the store has the HDR version.

When I select to upgrade, the store wants $35 for the upgrade!? What's the issue here? It's a paramount release.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

Not all content licensors offer discounted upgrade pricing. This is one such example. We still use the "upgrade" language because we wanted to be clear that you already own the title (to avoid having somebody buy a movie inadvertently), but it is a full-price purchase.

Here is what Kaleidescape should say:

“We have an onscreen display to purchase anything we offer seamlessly, with no guesswork, and assure you that your movie will be transferred flawlessly to your Kaleidescape Strato to further enhance your experience”

We are aware that Vudu et al gets bulk license buys or discounts.

Upgrade price is now $17.99. Had no intention to pay $35.- but now I am going for it.
