FYI Star Wars Blu Ray is available for pre order

Amazon has it and Im sure others do too.

FYI.

What I would like is the option to view the original cut of the film- or actually- if we could have the latest version of episode 4 without the Greedo shoots first part- that'd be fine by me. But of course these are George Lucas' babies and he can do what he wants with them. I enjoyed them all. I have to admit I sometimes wonder what the prequils would have been like if they were aimed at those of us who were young kids when the original trilogy came out. Either way, pardon me for lifting the line

this will be a day long remembered

:)

Actually if there were one thing I could get changed that is realistic (its not realistic to get story points changed)- the music mix they did for the DVD on the Death Star attack on Episode 4 minimizes John Williams' music score at this point in the movie, and for me, that was a big part of the experience, Id like to see the levels restored and if possible the mix brought more forward as opposed to the pushed to the sides as it is currently on the DVD. I know Im not alone on this one.

I shall look forward to watching these again!

I have found the Star Wars films are like the Beatles albums..... Every few years there is another reason to buy them again.

Got on the preorder list the day it was announced. I think this series is a must own, even with some of the flaws in the last three films.
