  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

About 18 months ago, I started to sell my system - it was already boxed up, then I had to move. Now, I'm at it again, only I've lowered the price for a quick sale.

Model K-5000 3RU Server with 11.5 TB (4 x 1000 plus 10 x 750)

I'm throwing in three K-Player 5000's at no cost.

All of the above were purchased new in 2008 and have been used very lightly. The units are out of warranty, but I had all of them checked out by Definitive Audio in Bellevue, WA before packing them up.

Price for the system: $14,000. I'll pay to package them professionally and I'll pay for insurance. Buyer pays for shipping.
 
Hi I'm new to the forum so forgive my ignorance in the following questions
Is this a complete systmn or do I need something else I have a good tv
And good quality speakers but that's it

You'll need a remote control. You can use the iPad/iPhone app (or another 3rd party remote) or you can pick up a KScape remote on the forum here.

Our system was controlled by a Crestron control system that stayed with the house when we sold it (it also controlled the lights!)
