  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

Hmmm... I'd like just the 1080p player and one of your 750gb disk cartridges. I'll offer you $500 total. Will you split up the system and consider my offer?

but damn, I have to agree with the OP, this is a truly amazing price on this system... nice way to add to a nearly-full 5U or 3U server-based system and get TWO more viewing zones including one at 1080p. AND a full warranty... sweet deal. bet it will go fast.

Hi, I am interested in the system. I have a few questions.
1. Do you have all of the original shipping boxes? 2. Is it difficult to add to my 3u system? 3. Do i have to reformat the 1u to get it to work with my 3u?

How does the license work? I have lifetime license on my 3u will this software license apply to your 1u?

Not my sale, but I can answer a few of your questions. There is no problem integrating the 1U to your 3U system. All you have to do is be sure the 1U is in the same "Group" as the 3U (you can check this and make any change in the Web Utility (Installer page).

You DO NOT have to "reformat" the 1U to work with the 3U, BUT any content on the 1U that you do not own must be either (1) Deleted; or (2) provided to you (original DVD/CD) by the seller.

The license he has on that 1U system will transfer to you. Also, as you mentioned, if you are adding it on to your current 3U system then the Lifetime License you have for that system (3U) will apply. (No different than adding another single server to your system.)

Shakazolo will have to answer the "boxes" question. :)
