The Blu ray release was 5/14/2024. I noticed yesterday that this title is available to purchase in SD but can be rented in HD. I don't recall seeing something like this where it can be rented in HD but only purchased in HD.

Is this a glitch or is it intentional?

This is a great movie by the way. Was nominated for best picture but lost to Around the World in 80 Days. The movie showed people of very different cultures living in friendship and mutual appreciation. It also asked some deep questions about what is right. Great casting all around including supporting actors Robert Middleton and a young Anthony Perkins.

Either way, glitch or intentional hopefully it will be available in HD soon.
 
That seems wrong. I've pointed it out to the store team and will let you know what I hear.
