  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

PRICED TO SELL (IN U.S).: 3 3U SERVERS, 1 M-700 (DISC VAULT-READER) AND 4 SPARE DRIVES (ALL PREMIERE COMPONENTS):

1. M700 Disc Vault (aka KVAULT-M700) $2,500 (originally $3,000): This vault (holding 320 discs) incorporates an integrated M-Class player. Worked flawlessly the last time I used it to eject all the discs. Rack mount included.

2. 3 U Server (aka KSERVER-5000) with 14 2TB drives (capacity of approximately 24 TB): $2,500 (originally $3,000). Rack mount included.

3. 3 U Server (aka KSERVER-5000) with 14 4TB drives (capacity of approximately 48 TB): $2,500 (originally $3,250). Rack mount included. Front hinge is broken, but front panel still closes shut if hinge is adjusted. SOLD

4. 3 U Server (aka KSERVER-5000) with 6 2TB drives and 8 1TB drives (capacity of approximately 16 TB): $2,500 (originally $2,750). Rack mount included. Original power supply replaced with Sparkle Power supply (that required removal of trim plate).

5. 4 4TB spare drives—still factory-sealed (dated 2014): $1,500. SOLD

All prices subject to shipping and transaction fees. Kaleidescape shipping boxes (just ordered) for Vault and 2 Servers are included (cost $155 and $230, each respectively).

The servers are grandfathered, and all components are out-of-warranty. I migrated long ago to Strato and Terra components. The Premiere equipment has been powered down for the last several years except for a few occasions to test and to download movie library lists to facilitate migration to my Terra servers.

All equipment worked perfectly when I de-registered components before the last shut-down on January 23. All movies have been deleted from the drives. Power cords (IEC) are excluded since they are neatly tied up in my racks.

Note that 2 of the drives in each server are reserved for data protection (hot spare and RAID-K parity). This is why the capacity of the servers does not equal the total storage of the drives.

All equipment is sold as-is to US buyers only. Serious inquiries only please.

New, LOWER prices on the three 3U servers above. (I need to make room for new equipment.)

$2,750, $3,000 and $2,500 respectively (from list above), plus shipping/transaction fees.

M700 Disc Vault and player (@ $3,000) seems attractively priced given condition and compared to DV700's.

Will provide additional discount/incentive for a bulk sale of the above.
