Early Releases -- Apple vs Kscape

Just curious, is there a reason why the Itunes Store sometimes gets titles weeks or more earlier than others like KScape? Just wondering if its volume, name, or something else?

Most recent example -- Furious 7.

Same reason my business get first crack at new products before my smaller competitors even know about them. Money talks. In this business, volume is the name of the game.

It would be nice to have advance announcement, and the option to pre-buy or place on a wish list. In this case, it's not exactly like PointMan's business. We all can find out when a movie will be available digitally. It's on the web, and the studios announce it with advertising campaigns. The roll out might be sequenced, and that part is more relevant to his point.

I don't follow Apple movie releases, but I have been tracking BR release dates versus availability on the K store. You can look back at any of the "US Releases for..." posts and see the scheduled release date for the BR and the actual date added to the store. Below is the link for May & June.

To the extent that happens, it is likely contract related.

Your much-appreciated threads were exactly what I was thinking about when I posted my reply. I eagerly anticipate each new thread you create for the new releases. Thanks for that!
