I started a different thread about this for another movie but I'm still experiencing audio dropouts with different content.

I thought I'd have a master thread and add to this as I come across dropouts with other content, anyone else please post your experiences with dropouts or just general discussion about this.

DTS-HD MA content dropouts that I've experienced so far:

Grease HDR - DTS-HD MA 5.1 at 1:21:47 to 1:21:48
Alien Director's Cut - DTS-HD MA 5.1 at 1:41:58 to 1:41:59
Open Range - DTS-HD MA 5.1 at 27:46 to 27:48
Saturday Night Fever - DTS-HD MA 5.1 at 1:28:11 to 1:28:12
The Lost Boys - DTS-HD MA 5.1 at 38:06 to 38:07

Are you using a Lumagen Radiance Pro video processor?
No, it's straight into the Denon x3700h, I've never experienced drops from TrueHD and when playing a disc with DTS-HD MA I've not experienced any drops.

Also had the same issue on Grease and Alien. Using a Denon X1700h. I have Saturday Night Fever but haven't watched it yet.

Adding to the dropout list:

Sleepy Hollow HDR - DTS-HD MA 5.1 at 1:36:29 to 1:36:30

Hey Hunter, have you opened a support ticket for these issues? If not, please do so. (support@kaleidescape.com) Let them know that Engineering is interested in having the issue escalated for investigation. If you could provide the titles and timestamps that you've compiled, that will be very helpful.

Will do,

I have not, but will do, thanks Mike!

Trading Places HDR - DTS-HD MA 5.1 at 1:22:25 to 1:22:26

I seem to be having similar issues with DTS–HD Master Audio. I made a post in another thread, but I didn’t want to derail it from the OP. I just received my brand new Strato E yesterday and had dropouts during the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. These dropouts are consistent at certain timestamps and I can reproduce them.

Seems like others in this thread are having similar problems. I’m wondering if Kaleidescape tech support has ever really looked into this issue? It seems folks above are using Denon, but I have a newer Onkyo receiver, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to one AVR manufacturer.
