I have 6 2TB drives from my old 3U server that I have no need for. They do have content on them so would need to be reinitialized by Kaleidescape. I don't know if these drives would be of any benefit to anyone. The drives were working fine, I just upgraded to larger drives. If anyone wants them, I would be glad to ship them just for the postage charges. Otherwise I will probably just dispose of them.

The popular consensus is that unless they are still under warranty, K will not re-initialize. Still they could probably be reused in a computer unless the drive itself has a password lock. I have never tried that myself... But you could give them to someone who likes to mess with hardware and they could have fun trying.

Correct, only drives still under warranty will be reinitialized by Kaleidescape.
