Disney One-Day Sales

Today was the first time I've ever seen a 1-Day Only sale. Tomorrowland is available for $9.99. With the heavy promotion of Disney titles for the month of June, I'm wondering if they're going to continue to offer new titles each day at a deep discount. Anybody notice other 1-Day sales prior to today?

Yes, I know Snow White had a one day price offering of $9.99 the other day. Today, it's the animated version of Beauty and the Beast...

I have yet to opt in for Disney releases yet. The promotion has me rethinking. I still struggle with the overall pricing for the titles available, even old releases (promotion aside), lack of UV or DMA, and lack of supplemental features for many of the titles (like the newly released, live-action Beauty and the Beast).

They do promotions from time to time.

This one day special seems like a pretty dumb promotion. Why buy any of the Disney titles if there is a chance it will be half price tomorrow?

We were watching the end credits of Beauty and the Beast in our theater the other night. My wife turns to me and say "lets look at the extras"... what followed was not good.... Why can't we get extras?

Yeah, really disappointing.

The whole "extras" thing in regards to Disney's arrangement is really an inconsistent stance - on the one end, they send a message that they prefer Kscape owners move away from the disc format in order to access their media in the store - but then don't provide/reward them for doing so, in fact somewhat disincentivizing them with not providing the same content for what is often a higher price point compared to buying the disc....

With all this energy going on with contacting Disney Studios, can some of this get applied to acquiring Paramounts library?

Hi everybody. Thanks for the feedback regarding the 1-day single-title special prices. If we do a promotion like this in the future we'll keep it in mind.

Just as a friendly reminder, today is the last day of the overall special pricing.
