To get the astounding D-Box movement system you first have to start with the seating: The D-Box system exerts significant forces on the home cinema seat, so cannot be used with all seating – CinemaTech and a few other manufacturers make robust enough seats which are D-Box ready – they have the attachment points for the D-Box motors built-in, ready to install the D-Box motion system.
D-Box systems are available to drive single seats, love-seats and 3-seater sofas, either via D-Box ready seats with in-built hard mounting points for the actuators, or via a Motion Platform that the seat sits on.
