Hi,
Bit of a newbie here, just had an install completed and the installers were finishing whilst I'm away. They sent me a video describing how to use the control 4 remote to select between 16:9 and scope, which adjusts the projector (jvc nz8) and the screen (seymour tam 2L).
My understanding was that this could be integrated into kaleidescape so the screen set itself according to the aspect ratio of the file being played?
As there are a lot more ratios than 16:9 and 2.40:1.
I assumed the projector lens memory and screen would be programmed with a whole bunch of ratios and select them automatically from the media.
I can understand maybe having to set it manually when wanting to play xbox or use a firestick/apple play. Though then again I would have thought a single press of a control 4 button would select the right input and set the projector/screen accordingly. I guess this is a topic for control 4 forums, but any advice on the kaleidescape side would be much appreciated.
Regards
Chris.
