Connecting Kaleidescape systems

Hi there,

I live in Germany and will have a second home in the UK in a few weeks. As I love my K-System here in Germany, I would like to have a K-System also in the UK. But it doesn't seem very logical for me to have all discs double and all vaults doubled also (I have three vaults). I have read in an older thread, that there is a way of connecting systems via a VPN tunnel. But as my bandwidth in the UK will be limited due to the area we buy, this will be no solution. In that thread I also read, that someone tried out to use the vaults in one location with the servers in the other location. If that would work, that would be perfect. Does anybody know, whether that works?

I am happy for any suggestions. Because otherwise I will probably be back to switching discs

Best regards

Dirk

I have not seen anyone successfully use the trick of having vaults in 1 location and servers in another.

Your best bet would be to get on the USA store and use the disc to digital function and also link your UV account to your store account. Chances are you will get a good amount of your movies this way. The rest you can either re-purchase or not.
