Compact Terra 18 Noise Level

My wife and I have a make-shift home theater in our bedroom while our house is being constructed. I am thinking about getting a Compact Terra 18 and Strato C to add to my Cinema Ones. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me about the noise level from the Compact Terra 18. I am mostly concerned about discernible noise while we are trying to sleep. Thank you.

How far away is the Terra from your sleeping position? (Just trying to determine a general distance, bedrooms come in all sizes. I have one 28' from my bed and cannot hear it.) Is it in a cabinet or sitting in the open? Is there anything else in the room that has sound during the night (some AC fans, other equipment, etc.)?

Also, although I obviously don't know your sensitivity level, for most people the brain adjusts to external noises and eventually shuts them out.

Jim,

My rack is similar to the Sanus rack above. The Terra server would be about 11 to 12 feet from the head of the bed. I don't really have any other items in the room that make noise at night. Thanks.
