Cinema One (2nd gen) to Alto question.

I have a Cinema One in my system now linked with a Co-Star, so that helps one of my zones with some extra movies, but recently I've thought about replacing it with an Alto now that the prices have started to come down as they're not needed for D2D anymore.

Question is, if I had both units, is there a way to transfer what is on the Cinema One straight to the Alto? Yes I know I can just redownload the movies again from the store, but I have lots of music etc on it as well and I'd be more tempted if I didn't have to do the work all over again and could just hit a mass transfer button and be done with it. TIA

Unfortunately no, you will not be able to transfer/replicate content on the C1 to an Alto. The C1 is a Premiere system component from the Premiere line, and the Alto is an Encore system component from the Encore line. The two separate lines do not connect directly, and software does not allow Replication between these lines. The reason behind this limitation is contractual, IIRC (but in any case, it can't be done).

Thanks Mike, I forgot to mention that in my response.
