PROBLEM DISC: Cannot play or Import Disc

I have 2 Music DVD's that I cannot get to import or play from tray. When I play them on a non-Kaleidescape player, I have no problem. When trying to play or import I get the message "Cannot play or Import Disc. The disc could not be read. Perhaps it is scratched or contains computer data instead of a movie or music" :confused:
I have a M500 player.
The only common factor is that both DVD's are Region 0 (Worldwide) and my player is Region 1. However, this should not prevent the disc from playing.
Any help will be appreciated :)
