Can extras disappear with a title update?

Question is in the title.

I could swear that A Bug's Life used to have the full complement of disc extras when I looked at it a long time ago (2017?). Am I misremembering this or did these disappear?

Do you still have the Bluray download in your library? I believe most of the time the extras are included with that version.

You need to download the HD version for the extras. Some titles have different extras in the SD download. For example, to get all the extras for Blade Runner (1982), you need to download both HD and SD versions.

Also, if you have/had a Premiere system and had the BR loaded, the extras show up in the 4K version on a Strato. Once you delete the BR version the extras are gone.

Ok, let me try to clarify the question a bit.

A Bug’s Life currently has no extras and I thought that it did years ago. My question is, if I do not currently have the extras (HD and/or SD version) downloaded on my system, is it possible for me to lose the ability to download these in the future due to a title update that removes them?

That is interesting. Does this work for movies that don’t have extras available on the store? e.g. If I were to add a premier system and load my Bug’s Life BD (no extras available on the store) would the disc extras show up on my strato?

Yes, they would. I have a number of titles with BR extras showing up om my HDR version on my Strato.
