Amber Power Light 3U

Good Day

I've been having fun loading all my movies into my new (to me) K server and had one failed drive a few days ago. A gentleman from K kindly helped me out, pulled the failed drive and after a rebuild I was good to go. I'm running 3 Kplayer 5000's to simultaneously import. Last night after 3 dvd imports I put 3 more dvd's in. I noticed that the lights on the players didn't start flashing and checked the interface. The interface was operating slowly, which happened when I had the one failed drive. I opened the panel of the server and the power button was amber, not a drive. I shut it off and left it for about 30 minutes. Powered back up and I'm importing just fine. What I can't find out is what an amber power button means on a server. Any idea? Thanks

Raise a case with Kaleidescape as that sounds like another drive may be timing out/having trouble and could be on its last legs. Ask them about the health of all remaining drives as the last thing you want to do is import all your content only to have the file system die on you.

Thanks, I called and I have two more drives that need to be replaced, although it seems fine now. They sure are helpful at K support. Feel guilty asking them for help as I purchased a used system. It's unfortunate I can't trade up with my 750 hard drives. I think the 6TB are around $1000 and no inexpensive way to do it.
