  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

WANTED: Additional Storage and players for my 3U

I am seeking to purchase additional storage for my 3u system. Currently I have 4X750GB discs and I am to capacity. I will purchase 750GB/1TB discs as I have lots of empty bays and I think these should be economical for my budget. I will buy a batch of them if you are looking to upgrade your storage.

I can also use atleast one other player. I don't have to have a drive bay to import movies from, a player alone would be great. But I will buy whatever is available if the price is right.

Just a bit of advice--although you may already know this. If you buy disks that have been used in another system, the disks will have to be reinitialized by Kaleidescape before they can be used in your system. Some sellers include this incremental cost in the cost of the drives; some sellers may sell the drives "as is," which means you will have to make arrangements with Kaleidescape and pay for the disks to be reinitialized. The incremental cost may not be large -- but it is a cost nonetheless.
 
The MiniPlayer sells for $2K. Where are you located, pkraja?
 
Also, there are a couple gotchas associated with what you want to do. You could use the help of a KScape dealer in the know.
