From any list or collections screen, enter "18121812" as if it were a parental control password. System should reply "Classical Music Mode Enabled". If you entered it on the Collections screen, you'll have to momentarily leave that screen and come back to see the feature enabled. Just go to your music or movie list mode, then go back to music collections screen.

You'll find amazing new collections called "Classical Composers" and "Classical Works" that have a much-improved interface that understands the intricacies of classical music CD's and doesn't just treat them like pop music disks. You can cross-reference performers, various performances of a particular work, you get biographies of composers, solists, even reviews of particular performances or works. Incredible... harder to explain than it is to use.

Once you get used to it, you'll find it can provide days of real education about classical music while you listen.

This is slated to become an "unhidden" feature in a future software release. For now it's hidden behind that password, but Kaleidescape is eager to hear our reactions/suggestions.

Note that this code ONLY works once you have received version 3.3 of KEAOS. Some of us here are beta-testers, but it should roll out to all users in a few weeks.

NOTE: This tip is no longer necessary if your system is running system v 3.5 or higher. As of v3.5, the classical music mode is now accessible to all without the need for the 1812-1812 secret pin...

Indisputably the best classical interface, I would love it if they would do the same with dance music. Same principle just remixes by different DJ's and sub genres instead of composers and works.
