  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

I am the original owner and everything is registered with Kaleidescape in my name.

Back story: I purchased three (3) 5U systems a few years ago. I had two of the systems installed in tandem at my parent's house. They are loaded with over 1100 movies (mostly Kaleidescape collections). This Kaleidescape product has brought my parents more pleasure and enjoyment then I could ever have hoped for. Both 5U serves have worked flawlessly for years and we've only experienced two drive failures that were easily replaced. The third 5U Server, K-Drives and K-2500 Players were eventually going to be installed in my house; however, priorities have changed and regrettably I just need to sell it.

macman, these drives are for 5U servers only. The other ones in that other thread are for 1U/3U servers only. Don't know what server/s you have, but it is not likely you could use both types of drives.
