4K Bluray- correct me if I am wrong, but K's vault / server system now would support 4K with new players...

As long as a more-faithful version of the original trilogy is present when I grab the nonology set in 15-or-so years... I'm perfectly fine with that.

In this afternoon's performance Jar-Jar will be replaced by Mickey Mouse :)

Jar-Jar reminds me more of Daffy Duck on a bad day rather than Mr Mouse.

According to the Sony Blog it appears the 4K door is about open with Sony supplying "full-length feature Hollywood productions" in native 4K for owners of the new 4K TV.

That would be cool. (the 4k)

I note that many new products offer 4k upconversion. This is notable because its so early for the consumer market for this and they are already putting out products that do this.

Greedo is the only change that comes to mind that I really don't like in Episode 4.

Don't forget the awful CGI of Jabba the Hut with Han Solo stepping on his tail. That took him from a faceless gangster thug that was Solo feared into some bumbling crook that isn't a real threat. That in turn make Solo's decision to come back and help the rebels in the end seem like there is no real cost to him on the other side for not paying Jabba in time.

I'll have one of these on the way soon. Had to buy the TV to get the content! (I'll move the 65" Panny to my office and replace it with the Sony. I never did buy that larger unit, I got tired of waiting, but this 84" should be a better image.:)

It looks like the VW1000vpl ES 4K projector is also a possible candidate. I wonder if Sony would think of using the Kaleidescape server instead. The player is an obvious issue but it looks like they will supply one in any event.
