... but we strongly encourage you to register for a full account. There is no cost to register for a full account.

Benefits of registering for a full account:

    • Participate in the discussions! You must have a registered account to make posts on the forums. You will be able to start your own thread on a topic or question, or you can reply to other threads/discussions.
    • Use the "Conversation" feature (known as "private messaging" on other forums) to communicate directly with any of the other users here.
    • Access the Files area. The "resources" area of the forum contains many "Favorite Scene" and Script files that can dramatically increase the enjoyment of your Kaleidescape system. Go directly to great scenes in your favorite movies, created by other owners, and add automation to playback of your system with Scripts.
    • You won't see this annoying notice at the top of every screen!😊

It's easy and free to register for the forum. Just click the "Register" button in the upper right corner of this page, and follow the instructions there.

  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

For more information on purchasing a Premium or Patron membership, please see the Account Upgrades section of your user profile.

Customer changed mind and needs money so here is his 2 week old M700

Thanks,

Joel

M700s are the disc vaults for auto-loading of content (CD/DVD/BD) and storage of BDs for playback. So, it would be loaded with 0 of 0 HDDs, but will take any type of them.

I am presuming region-A, correct?

My mistake...I was getting it confused with the hard drive server...apologies...

M700 is the Blu-Ray disc Vault and M500 class player with single disc tray built in. M700 does not accept hard drives. It is a storage vault for up to 320 Blu-Ray Discs. It also Loads the Movies to your Server

With the M700, can any other player on the network play the blu-ray, or is it just via a blue-ray player or M700 itself?

Thanks, Steven

Just to clarify a bit, what Mark is getting at is if you have the M700 and a disc is in it, then you'd need an M500 or M300 which are the K players that can handle BR. You couldn't for example play it in one of the older players.

....and to clarify further...:D

Player's with BR playback capability:

M700 (has a built BR Player, basically an M300)

M500 (Can either playback from the disc tray for rental disks, etc., or from the Server.)

M300 (No built-in disc tray, plays from Server only.)

Of course they all playback DVD and CD's as well.

Player's that playback DVD and CD content (not BR):

6000 (1080p Player)
300 (1080p Mini-Player)
5000 (Movie Player 2)
2500 (Player)
2000 (Player)

Hope that's clear. (I know all of the above poster's already know this info, just posting for others reading this thread.)

Does the warranty, etc. transfer over? All of the original packaging, etc. comes with it?

Thanks, Steven
