  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

This is a B-Stock Kaleidescape 1U KServer-1500 that is (Grandfathered)

NOTE: As configured the server will hold up to 485 Blurays, 2,700 Dvd’s or 27,771 Cd’s or any combination all of them.

This Server is Grandfathered in so you can still import DVD’S,CD’S & Bluray’s It carries the required DVD import license to be able to import DVDs, CD’S & Blurays to the server. This feature is no longer available on any servers that were sold after 11/26/2014

it means it is a refurbished unit that comes with a 90 day warranty from Kaleidescape.
I do not have the S/N for the unit because it has not been shipped out from Kaleidescape yet.
If I was to have them ship it to me now the warranty would start from the time they ship it out.
This way the unit would have the full 90 day warranty on it and it would ship from Kaleidescape directly to you.
 
Thank you. I have a similar unit with 11TB memory. I bought mine new and have run out of space. Will there be much to reconfigure this or will it be plug and play? Did you have to refurbish this unit more than once? I am new to this forum and apologize for my lack of knowledge.
 
It would be plug and play.
All you would have to do is add the new one 1U to your current Kaleidescape
and then all the content you have will show up on your screen then all the new stuff you add to your system will be added to the new 1U server.
I can also walk you thru it over the phone.

For what it is worth, I have dealt with Sean (1highvelocity) many times as he is my Kscape dealer of choice. Great to work with. You have no worries adding on to your system. I did the same thing. Works flawlessly.
