  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

PRICE REDUCED - 1U "Grandfathered" Server with 4 x 4TB disk cartridges

Hey everyone,

Long-time and avid Kaleidescape user here who frequents the forum and loves the system and experience, but looking to find a new home for a much-loved "grandfathered" 1U Server.

All the content has been moved to a 3U Server and it is time to sell the 1U chassis and disks. The 1U chassis is in excellent condition and under warranty for a short time until March 3, 2018. There are 4 x 4 TB disk cartridges that are NOT under warranty, but are empty (as a single file system) and are in good health.

I am in the SF bay area, but am willing to make arrangements to ship anywhere in the US. Asking $6500 or best offer. Dropped to $4400 or best offer. Now at $3900 or best offer.

Reducing Price Again

Hey everyone,

I am very serious about selling and am happy to make arrangements to get a Kaleidescape box and packing materials to make sure the server arrives anywhere in the US safely. Reducing the price to $4900 or make me an offer.

Reducing the price again - $4400 or best offer.

In case you are not aware, the DVD import rights from this server can be transferred to any new 1U Server you may be purchasing, and the new server will inherit the ability to import DVDs.
