Last movie watched

"Edge of Tomorrow." Very good, except I hated the final scene and there's a weird sequence in the middle where somehow Cruise's character is able to get off the military base, hop on a motorcycle, and go to London to get a drink. This makes absolutely no sense. I almost feel like there may have been something else in there to explain it because as it is, it's preposterous. How the hell did he get off the military base on a motorcycle to grab a drink in a London bar???
Really good movie. What makes me chuckle is that you are happy to accept the perpetual time loop, the explanation for why they are happening, the monster alien thingies, etc etc but Tom popping off for a pint is just a step too far :) Brilliant.

It’s actually become one of my favourite Tom Cruise movies I think having watched it quite a few times now.

You watched that whole movie and everything that TC's character did in it and the one thing you question is how he was able to ride a motorcycle off the base??? LOL

I think thrillcat explained it best...he's Tom Cruise.

Great movie! Glad you watched.

Yes because everything else makes logical sense if you accept science fiction. Popping off to London for a pint makes no sense, not even within a time loop alien invading universe.

Guard of the Galaxy III

Enjoyable, as Guardians movies tend to be, but it was a little different than the previous two. Not in a bad way, though. I’m not sure why it took me this long to finally watch it.

It makes effective use of Atmos, and the music was excellent. As usual for Guardians.
