I was just thinking of getting some traffic going and see what is out there. Here is my Kaleidescape system:

4 Players (all KPlayer 2500's)
1 Reader
2 Servers

I have 11x300GB in server #1
Server #2 has 4x400GB, 2x500GB

Total storage - 5.1TB

I will be using a Crestron 15" touchpanel in the theater. The rest of the house use hardbutton remotes.

I dithered quite a bit about starting with a 2nd player. So far there hasn't been much fighting thanks to distributed TiVos as the other viewing option. Having only one player has also come in handy--my 2 year old naps in our bed and flips on a movie when he wakes up. I'll be watching something while peddling away in the exercise room and suddenly it will switch over to Toy Story, so I know my workout is over.

I'm anticipating that KScape will release a 1080p player in 18 to 24 monthes once HD shakes out, so I plan to add one then.
