View Only Downloaded and not Catalogued Content

Only way I found was to actually delete it from the menu, but don't worry, it'll stay catalogued on your account.
It would be really great if they could add this toggle as a feature. With the D2D program now being a far bigger part of many user's experiences, this is a pretty valuable feature. As someone who got into KScape as a direct consequence of this program being brought back in, I'd love to see them prioritize UI improvements centered on the D2D catalog.

How would you add it back to the menu later? Or would it only return with a D2D purchase?

Haven't tried, but possibly if you put the disc back in you could get the cover back. Always annoyed me because it was just filler that wasn't playable. (makes more sense being there if you had the Vault type add-ons where it could be played)

Of course it would be there again if you bought it from their store.

Sounds too much like work. I imagine this is residual leftovers from the vault since it seems to be all the same software. I've spent the last month scanning every single disc I own and while the Blurays don't show up, the DVDs do, which further shows its a leftover feature of the vault.

It would be nice to at least toggle off visibility of the movies that aren't even available in the Kscape store

Now that I have everything scanned, I'll just box it all up and store it, just in case I need it again.

Just clarifying that cataloged Blu-rays do not show up in the Strato interface because they are not playable. Only cataloged DVDs are playable on an Encore system.

Thanks for all the replies. My ideal solution would be to have an individual toggle for each of the three categories:

1. Owned in K and downloaded to server
2. Owned in K and not downloaded to server
3. Catalogued but not owned in K

That way you could toggle categories on and to change the display depending what you are looking for. Although I could understand if they didn’t want to toggle 1 above because it should always be included.

I am a new owner and my disc collection is older and mostly DVDs. So currently there is more showing on th display that I can’t watch vs what I can. One of the justifications for K to myself was that it would enable me to upgrade the resolution of much of my content vs something like the Zappitti NAS which, while being significantly cheaper, would have left me with mostly SD content.

Semi-correct.

Cataloged Blu-ray discs do not appear on the Strato's onscreen display (OSD) because they are not playable on a Strato as Andy states. However, Blu-ray discs are playable on Altos which are part of the Encore system (albeit discontinued now). So the cataloged Blu-ray discs would appear on an Alto's OSD.

As for hiding cataloged content, I don't quite see the use case. If you have no intention of playing the cataloged content and have only cataloged it for Disc-to-Digital purposes, then once your library of cataloged content has been uploaded to the store -- as evidenced by seeing Digital Offers for the content in the web store -- there's really no compelling reason to keep it in your library and you can simply delete it. You'll still get digital offers for the content when and as they are available in the store.
