PROBLEM DISC: Victoria

When I try and import the DVDs for the PBS series Victoria (UPC 841887030922) I get the status message "DVD cannot be imported" for each DVD, and I have to eject the DVDs from my vault. All other DVDs import just fine.

This happens on occasion, I think it has something to do with the metadata being supplied for those particular discs. The "DVD cannot be imported" can show up for several reasons IIRC, and should not be interpreted as "Because this is a DVD it cannot be imported." It's more like identifying it as a "DVD," and then stating "it can not be imported for some reason." It would be nice if the actual reason could be noted (i.e. conflicting metadata, ID'd as a rental disc, dirty, etc.), but not sure that's even possible.

It may be that you will have to send the collection to K so that they can work with the metadata, but it will take awhile before they get to it given the volume of work they already have pending.

One thought, if you have another component that can import, give that a try, just in case it's an optical drive issue (doubtful, but try if you are able).
