What's your go-to title for really demonstrating top quality multichannel/immersive audio and video.
Ideally 4K HDR + Atmos

Open to most any genre... rock, blues, jazz, classical (but not so much opera)

Just downloaded Pink Floyd Delicate Sound of Thunder which should be amazing... though I wish it were HDR.

My go-to are Muse’s Simulation Theory and Steven Wilson’s Home Invasion.

I love that Pink Floyd show and it’s awesome but not a demo-worthy clip. John Mayer’s Where the Light Is is also a really great show captured by Danny Clinch, but HD only.

Well I’ve been a Kaleidescape dealer for 2 decades and an ultra-high audio end dealer for over 4 decades. Here are a few personal choices for concerts based on them being great concert experiences:

Stop Making Sense - 1984
Talking Heads
4K HDR10 Atmos

Chris Botti: In Boston - 2008
HD
(NOTE: While we have this on our Terras, it is currently not available in the Kaleidescape Store. With regard to this title (or any other title) that was in the Store previously but has gone out of window, Kaleidescape says,”We look to get rights back for any titles we can, so hopefully that Chris Botti concert will come in a new licensor deal.”

For Chris Botti fans there is another concert currently in the Kaleidescape Store:
Chris Botti: Live with Orchestra & Special Guests
HD

Ultimately though in my experience the best concert demo is music the client loves.

Here are all the currently available K Store concerts with more to come:

You can always demo video picture quality and sonic quality with a variety of choice movie scenes.

Sore subject for me, 40 of my concerts remain unavailable due to the ‘V’ upgrade (Chris Botti is one of them).
And I love Talking Heads, but if I want the 4k version I have to buy it again 😵‍💫

Honest question: If you owned the Palm Pictures DVD of Stop Making Sense, would you expect A24 to give you a free or $5 copy of the new 4K UHD blu-ray after they put in the investment to remaster it?

I'm with you on the disappointment of things not being available for the "new" "state of the art" Kaleidescape player, but the expectation of free or discount upgrades when a new studio has made a very significant investment is kinda off.

All of them! 😁

Any of the Peter Gabriel concert
Pink Floyd: Delicate Sound of Thunder
Roger Waters: Us + Them
Roger Waters: The Wall
Talking Heads: Stop Making Sense
The Police Certifiable
Radiohead:The King of Limbs — Live from the Basement
Steven Wilson: Home Invasion — In Concert at the Royal Albert Hall
Imagine Dragons: Smoke + Mirrors Live
Yes: Live at Montreux 2003
Yes: Live at The Apollo
Jeff Beck: Performing This Week... Live at Ronnie Scott's
Soundstage: Stevie Nicks — Live

I could go on. I love my concerts. 😁

Great choices, but are they 4K+Atmos? probably very few of them. I'm after the VERY best audio and video for demo use...

Yea but K already profited from selling me the title once, wouldn’t kill them to offer it at a discount for an upgrade.

I own it and agree it's a good one based on my request. It is 4K HDR with Atmos. I watched it a while ago and was impressed with the quality just didn't love the music itself, but yes... it's a top quality demo disc.
Hope there are others...

EDIT: Just watched it again and it really is good, and there are some fantastic selections from some good movies. Some odd inclusions also, but that's fine. Very impressive picture and sound... definitely demo-worthy

This is a fantastic concert in HD with DTS-HD 5.1, but see it is now available in 4K/Atmos and may be worth checking out.

YES, great one. 4K, good Atmos track, though SDR rather than HDR, but meets the other requests and some excellent demo material here.
I had forgotten I had already bought this in 4K.

Have to agree with you re Gabriel's concerts. He always was a fascinating and brilliant performer since the first time I saw him live on the Supper's Ready tour. Master of the visual and audio and always delivers in my experience. So impressive.

My favourite recorded gig has to be the Hell Freezes Over which was available on blu ray but not on K unfortunately. Would love that to be available on K but have very little hope left that it will appear. Those opening notes (on Hotel California) and the big hand drum make the hairs on my neck stand up every time on a decent hifi (particularly Linn for some reason). It sounds great in 5.1 but would love to hear it in Atmos. Having it all on K would be enough though tbh. I'm not particularly an Eagles fan but that gig is just amazing to watch/listen to. Thinking about it I think it's a demo of HC that convinced us that we needed to for k out for our first cinema set up. Been hooked ever since.

Gabriel/Genesis, Simply Red, Sting and Paul Weller, for different reasons all stand out in terms of gigs I have attended but it's the Hell Freezes that is the best I have seen on disk etc.

While not a shake the house down show, Norah Jones Live at Ronnie Scott’s is great.

Sting Live At The Olympia Paris is also great. While not 4K, The Eagles Farewell 1 Tour is still one of my go to’s.

Think I am going a little crazy. I am sure I have had a Sade gig in my wish list for ages and it's disappeared. i.e. the movie no longer listed on K?

Is that a mistake, temporary or have K lost access?

Kicking myself for not buying it before TBH because I have has it in my basket so many times but waited instead. Doh!
