US Releases for January & February 2014

DOH... that was very smart, I wish I had thought of it!

Well, my perfect plan to purchase the 3D/2D Blu-ray of "Gravity", load it into Kaleidescape, then pay $1.99 to go disc-free did not go as planned. Turns out not all movies qualify for the disc-free offer. Bummer. Though I am certain that one day it will, for now I am forced to slip the disc in my Cinema One when I want to watch it.

Is it possible that they just haven't yet done the matching of all disc pressings and editions yet and that you may soon see the upgrade-to-diacless offer?

The UV rights have not been enabled yet. When this happens is up to the studios I believe.

Spoke directly to Kaleidescape, and they let me know that it is a title by title, studio by studio option. The studio informs them when they are allowed to offer the disc-less option. So know you know the rest of the story.

"Chicago: Diamond Edition" has been added to the store. This version has updated video and now Dolby TrueHD 7.1 mix instead of the LPCM 5.1 on the previous version.
