I know the Kaleidescape store is US focused but it does have a UK store as well. From other posts by Mark H, he seems disgruntled by the UK store - is this the general consensus? I am considering whether to purchase a Kaleidescape system and a comprehensive download store in the UK with the ability to upgrade existing DVDs I own to high definition copies and download new movies would be a clear positive. If not available today, is it expected to improve towards the end of the year following the settlement? For someone who does not own a Kaleidescape system today, is there a way to look at what is available in the store and prices (I suppose I could go into a dealer and ask for a demo but it is not as convenient as browsing online!)?

Thank you - I had browsed before and thought you had to sign-in but I'll try using that link. Unfortunately I am travelling at the moment and get the message that the store is not available in this country so I'll look later this week when I'm back. Thank you

I am a UK based member and follow the advice on another thread and use the US based store instead

Works faultlessly every time though to be honest I have just about exhausted the stuff I want to download in the existing catalogue so keeping an eye for new content now
 
How did you do that, the VPN part is easy but it always seems to reject a non US card. PM me with the secret please.
 
I would be very interested too.

I can't even see the US store, and I use a U.S. DNS service to get American Netflix and Hulu plus.
 
The UK store is a bit sad at the moment. There is a real lack of new releases. New content appears to be a older or B movie stuff. I really hope things will improve soon. By contrast the US store is much healthier looking.
 
I've given up looking at the store to see if anything new has come out. If something does come to the store I've never heard of it or the film is so bad it can't even hit double figures for a rotten tomatoes score.
 
All you need to do is use Hola browser extension which allows you to connect to a US proxy and view the US store.
