It's easy and free to register for the forum. Just click the "Register" button in the upper right corner of this page, and follow the instructions there.

  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

I have a Trinnov Altitude 32 with 16 channels, (expandable to 32 channels). Has all the HD Codecs (Atmos, DTS-X, etc), and is in excellent (like new) condition. Will include Mogami breakout cables for 16 channels. Without cables, retail is $24,000. Selling for $13,200, includes shipping. Warranty period being confirmed. Email, or PM me if interested. (cinelifellc@gmail.com).

Wow. This is the best price I have seen on an expandable Trinnov Altitude 32.

Good luck with the sale.

I had a few people ask "What is better than the Altitude?", "Why are you selling?", "What are you replacing it with (implying there is something better)?", so I'm clarifying here.

First, I have two units. One has been at a home I have at Notre Dame that I use for seasonal football games. It has 24 channels. The unit I put into my system here is 16 channels, and is newer. I moved the 24 channel back here after it was determined only students, faculty, and Admin can attend "in-stadium" games this year because of Covid. (I didn't want to have it sitting there unused for nearly 2 years, considering last use was last football season, and frankly it is overkill for the system I currently have installed at that house.)

Lastly, there are several processors out there on the high end that are incredible, and the Altitude is one of those processors. Many think it's the best available, I certainly wouldn't argue against that thought, and I will continue to use the Altitude 32 in my FL system. I may replace the other with an Altitude again when I return to ND, but I may also downscale slightly given the AV needs of that house (I may install Samsung's "The Wall" at that home, and if I do I'll rebuy an Altitude).

That's the long story behind why this Altitude is offered for sale, it has nothing to do with replacing with something better, there isn't anything "better" in my opinion.

I have an Altitude 32 w 24 channels. I was a Theta Casablanca owner since 1997 and in 2018 replaced it with the Altitude and never look back. Its better! As far as I am concerned its the very best. This is a great buy for someone!
