Brings back memories. 1971-72. I was a freshman at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, walking down the main campus, and a gorgeous blonde was walking maybe 20 feet in front of me, with cameras on her. Turns out it was Cybil Shepard, then I think 19, and they were filming this movie! Recently listed in the KStore for purchase! (No - I was not filmed as an extra. DARN!)

This is one of my favorite movies and Cybil Shepard was stunning. It always seemed to me to be an allegory for the Camelot tales with the town declining and dying as Sam the Lion does. The land and king are one and all.
